VIC: Kosovar in serious condition after stabbing

An Albanian man is in a serious condition after being stabbed during an argument at the
Portsea Safe Haven for Kosovar refugees, southeast of Melbourne.

A police spokesman says the 32-year-old was airlifted to Melbourne's Alfred Hospital with a
stab wound about 9.30am and remains in a serious condition.

A 35-year-old Albanian man is being questioned by police over the incident.

A Department of Immigration spokesman says there are 275 refugees remaining in the Portsea
camp, while 115 people have been flown home to Kosovo.

The spokesman says it's unclear when the remaining refugees will leave.
